Our Story
I am Jerry, a graduate of Fudan University with a Bachelor's degree in English. After graduation, I worked in financial consulting, later joined the internet finance industry, and also participated in founding one of the largest community e-commerce platforms. I am also a father of a daughter. After the pandemic, I left my hometown Shanghai and came to Singapore to accompany my daughter in her learning and growth.
My daughter has attended NLCS Singapore and UWC Singapore. In accompanying her through the international school application process, I deeply understood what parents need—not sales-driven pitches, but warm, neutral, and experience-based professional guidance.
It was this shared experience that led us to establish Oak Education together, providing families with independent planning and application advice. We also collaborate with elite financial and real estate advisory teams to help every family settle safely and smoothly in Singapore.

Jonathan graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, majoring in Economics. He was a domestic project manager at the California Association, which has been dedicated to designing and managing several economic topics. Long-term engaged in the implementation and teaching of economic and financial disciplines. He has guided students from primary to university level for decades. He has been responsible for the research and development of international school interview coaching and English course systems.
Shawn
Financial & Insurance Business Consultant
Graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master's degree and a full scholarship for a dual-degree Ph.D. from Stanford. Settled in Singapore for 20 years, as part of the Singapore national healthcare system and financial environment. Currently a private wealth advisor at Prudential (Singapore). He has been awarded the company's annual Hero multiple years in a row. He provides medical insurance, risk planning, and long-term residency-related arrangement advice to student families.
Maggie
Real Estate Business Lead, Investor
Maggie graduated from the National University of Singapore's Engineering Department with excellent academic performance. Settled in Singapore for 20 years. As a top 1% gold advisor in Singapore's real estate brokerage business, combines rational analytical skills with high service awareness. Business covers residential leasing, buying and selling transactions, investment planning, and development consulting. Assists families in completing integrated plans from school selection to settlement.
Mandy
Senior Education Consultant
Mandy holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Birmingham (UK) and a Bachelor's degree in English from Shanghai University. Brings structured planning expertise and strong execution capabilities to education advisory. As a parent, successfully guided her daughter's transition from a leading bilingual school in Shanghai to a Singapore international school. Provides practical and structured advisory support to families.
Teressa
Co-Founder · Academic Training Lead
Teressa holds dual master's degrees from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Wuhan University, with a specialization in English Education. She is certified with an English Proficiency Level 8 and an International Teacher Qualification. With over fifteen years of overseas university teaching experience, Teressa has lived in Singapore for more than a decade. At Oak Education, she is responsible for long-term academic planning and course system design.
Elaine
Study Abroad and Education Planning Consultant
Graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Business Administration, holding an A-Level education background from the UK. Possesses a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) certification, demonstrating strong analytical skills and systematic planning capabilities. Having lived in Canada for over two decades, Elaine has a deep understanding of the North American and international education systems, with clear insights into school selection, academic progression, and long-term development. As a mother, Elaine has personally planned and accompanied her child through multiple stages of academic advancement, from successfully entering a top French public school in Canada to enrolling in the prestigious Crescent School, and finally smoothly transitioning to a Singapore international school, UWC. She has accumulated extensive firsthand experience in this process. Drawing on her cross-cultural educational background and real-life family experience, Elaine is skilled at providing practical, clear, and actionable education planning advice to families, helping students seamlessly integrate and thrive across different educational systems and achieve long-term success.
