Sam is a mathematics and physics tutor with more than 10 years of experience, over 1,000 hours of instruction, and more than 100 students taught. He completed the IB Diploma Programme with Higher Level Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry before earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Honours Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, graduating with distinction. His awards include the Hydro-Québec Entrance Scholarship, the NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award, and multiple Dean's Honour List placements. Sam pairs rigorous subject teaching with a holistic approach covering exam strategy, time management, mindfulness, and effective study habits, helping students build deep conceptual understanding, confidence, and the independent problem-solving skills that last.
