Programme Overview
NUS Law is widely regarded as Asia’s leading law school, and the LLB is the standard route to enter the legal profession in Singapore. The four-year programme requires 160 units — about half are compulsory common law courses critical for legal practice, with the rest being electives spanning areas from banking and finance to public international law to intellectual property. The curriculum is comparative, international and multi-disciplinary, with visiting professors from Harvard, Yale, Oxford and Cambridge each year. NUS Law has an unparalleled track record in international mooting competitions. Admission requires a written test and formal interview. About 240 students graduate each year. If you’re interested in the intersection of law and business, NUS also offers a Double Degree in Business Administration and Law.
