Programme Overview
Cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing fields in tech, and NUS Information Security is Singapore’s dedicated undergraduate pathway into it. The programme equips you with the knowledge and skills to safeguard computer systems and digital infrastructure — covering cryptography, network security, software security and digital forensics. You’ll learn how systems are attacked and how to defend them, with a strong hands-on component. This is more focused than Computer Science, which covers the full spectrum of computing; InfoSec goes deep on the security domain specifically. If you want the breadth of CS with the option to specialise in security as one of many focus areas, CS gives you that flexibility.
Admission Requirements
IB Diploma
- •Pass in HL Computer Science or HL MAA or HL Physics; or a good pass in either SL MAA or HL MAI
Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level
- •H2 pass in Computing
- •Mathematics
- •Further Mathematics or Physics; or a good pass in H1 Mathematics
