Programme Overview
NUS Landscape Architecture is a relatively new programme (launched in 2020) that has quickly become the leading landscape architecture degree in Southeast Asia. The BLA prepares you to address some of the most pressing challenges of our time — urbanisation, climate change, biodiversity loss, and the need for liveable cities — through design. The curriculum is studio-based, with supporting modules in landscape history, planting design, construction technology, ecological systems, and digital representation. Singapore itself serves as a living laboratory: the city-state’s reputation as a "City in a Garden" means you study landscape architecture in one of the world’s most ambitious urban greening contexts. The programme is accredited by the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (SILA). Graduates work in landscape architecture firms, government agencies (NParks, URA, HDB), and environmental consultancies. Admission requires a portfolio review and interview.

- •Pass in SL Chemistry or SL Mathematics (MAA) or SL Physics; or HL Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (MAI). Selection test/interview required (portfolio review).
Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level
- •H1 pass in Chemistry
- •Mathematics or Physics; or Pass in O-Level Additional Mathematics. Selection test/interview required (portfolio review).
