Official Raffles American School IELTS preparation day camp, adopting a teaching philosophy of 'Goal-Oriented + High-Frequency Training + Continuous Feedback', designed for students aged 10-17 at CEFR B2 level (equivalent to IELTS 5.0-5.5) and above. Each student will undergo a one-on-one English assessment before enrollment, and teachers will set personalized improvement goals based on the student's current level. During the learning process, students will experience daily task training, weekly stage tests, and full-course learning tracking to ensure every progress is recorded, analyzed, and fed back. In addition to exam training, the course specially integrates English critical thinking development, international expression skills, and cross-cultural communication training, enabling students not only to achieve high scores in IELTS but also to truly adapt to the language environment of future international classrooms.

IELTS preparation program runs Monday to Friday, full-day from 9 AM to 5 PM. All students must complete an online written test and interview assessment after registration. The school will arrange tiered teaching based on evaluation results to ensure precise alignment between learning content and student abilities. The program offers 7 levels, strictly aligned with CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The Academic English Preparatory Class is suitable for students at A1-B1 levels, using proprietary in-house materials to systematically build language learning frameworks. The curriculum focuses on the four core skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, combined with vocabulary and grammar systems, and includes subject-specific English content in mathematics, science, social studies (history and geography), and arts, helping students familiarize themselves with subject vocabulary and reading materials in advance to prepare for international school applications.
Each student will undergo a standardized English language assessment before enrollment and be scientifically placed into either Intensive or Advanced classes based on their CEFR level. Different levels have clear course objectives and learning paths, ensuring no time is wasted and students can keep up without struggling.
Taught entirely in English by experienced European and American teachers, the course combines IELTS exam requirements to comprehensively train students' listening comprehension, oral expression, and English critical thinking abilities. Through authentic communication and classroom interaction, students enhance their language application skills and prepare well for the IELTS exam.
IELTS Intensive: Uses Cambridge official preparation materials "Mindset for IELTS" and "Official Guide" combined with Raffles' proprietary specialized exercises to reinforce core question types. IELTS Advanced: Primarily uses authentic past papers, supplemented by self-developed mock question banks, focusing on weak areas to fill gaps and achieve comprehensive score improvements.

Grace is a Korean-American teacher from the United States with a Master's degree in Psychology. She has accumulated extensive experience in international student support and language teaching at multiple universities in the United States, specializing in helping non-native English speakers successfully adapt to all-English learning environments. During her tenure at the University of Texas, Grace was responsible for international students' language learning guidance and academic writing training, incorporating academic discussions, oral training, and cross-cultural communication courses. She has also worked in teaching and tutoring at Amberton University and the University of Hawaii, helping international students improve their academic English expression and classroom participation skills.
